Hello everyone and welcome to the very first post on my brand new blog! I first started planning this blog over a year ago so I am very pleased to have finally got to this stage. It has been a long time coming! This blog will be about family, lifestyle and travel with the odd glass of wine to help my sanity! You can find out all about us here.
To celebrate the launch of the blog, the only way to do it in my mind was with wine and cake! Therefore, I was very happy when GiftsOnline4U got in touch and asked me if I would like to try their personalised wine as it seemed like the perfect match. They very kindly sent me an engraved bottle of Chateauneuf Du Pape to celebrate Mummy Needs Wine launch. I will be honest and say that I was a bit shocked by the price to begin with. However I need not of worried at all. The wine was lovely and was a pleasure to drink. As Jo’s Kitchen was 8 years old this year, they also sent me a bottle of Chablis to celebrate that anniversary which was lovely too. I think the a bottle of personalised wine would be a great gift at any time of year. Don’t forget Father’s Day is on Sunday 18th June too!
Now onto the cake part! In order to celebrate the launch of Mummy Needs Wine, I make a simple wine bottle cake. The full recipe is over on Jo’s Kitchen so why not pop over for a read.

I was sent two bottles of wine from GiftsOnline4U for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own. I was not required to give a positive review.
